Copy Editor for Viernes, an entertainment magazine. Responsible for editing and translating stories.  Involved in all aspects of production. Part-time Reporter. Research and interviews for original articles on health, alternative medicine and spirituality.

U.S. Information Agency/Voice of America. Radio Martí Programs. Miami, FL. (1987 to 1990)
Research & Policy Department. Conducted in-depth interviews in the studio and in the field. Transcribed, translated and summarized reports. Prepared preliminary and final reports on diverse subjects and cases, used as the basis for many Radio Martí programs.

Assistant Interviewer. Miami, FL. (1985 to 1986)
Research and Policy Department. Responsible for various administrative functions and data entry. Conducted audience research. Responsible for the recruitment and briefing of contract interviewers, focus groups and contact network use for interviewee identification. Prepared questionnaires for identification of needs; conducted in-depth interviews in the field, and transcribed, translated and summarized them. Coordinated logistics and maintained channels of communication with the Washington, D.C. office.
